Happy to explain. Here's what it actually does.

DowGold isn't one strategy, it's a whole library of them running in one engine: breakouts, price momentum, volatility and mean-reversion setups on Gold and US30, plus an optional Silver strategy you can switch on. The cloud decides which lead and which sit back depending on what the market is actually doing, and because the logic lives on our servers rather than baked into static code, we can pull a strategy that's stopped performing or add a new one at any time, with every connected EA picking up the change on the fly. That's the whole point of a cloud system: it adapts in real time, which matters more than ever when a single headline can turn the market in an instant.

Risk is handled differently on each market, deliberately:

• Gold (XAUUSD): in the standard system, every trade is a single order with its own exit. No grid, no martingale, no recovery stacking. Gold moves too hard and too fast to average into losses safely, so a losing trade is simply closed and taken. (The optional Turbo stream, off by default, is the one exception — see below.)
• US30: uses layered entries, but only into a trend that is already in profit. It presses winners. It never adds orders to rescue a losing position.
• Silver (XAGUSD): a much more aggressive strategy that uses controlled grid recovery — order sizes can scale at extremes, always capped, never blind doubling. More profit potential and more risk, which is exactly why Silver is switched off by default and only trades if you deliberately enable it.

On top of that, positions sit behind one hard maximum loss, so the downside is capped, not open-ended. Want more control? Set your own custom drawdown guard right inside the EA, a daily or overall maximum percentage. Prop-firm traders lean on it to stay inside challenge limits, but you can use it on a personal account just as easily.

What we don't hand over is the exact parameters and code. That's the part competitors would clone and brokers would filter against, and protecting it is how we protect your returns. But you don't have to take the description on faith: it's all running on real money, independently verified on MyFXBook, right now. The track record is the proof.

Turbo Mode is an optional second stream of trades that runs alongside the standard system, on Gold only. It is completely optional and switched off by default: until you enable it, nothing about the EA changes.

Enable it and you get an additional stream of higher-frequency Gold trades. Depending on the risk mode you pair it with, Turbo can target in the region of 30–50% per month — but drawdown can exceed 30%. It is not for the faint of heart.

The Turbo strategy uses controlled grid recovery — never martingale. It exists for traders who want more trades, more risk and more profit potential. For most traders who just want a set-and-forget strategy, our advice is simple: leave it off. Full details are in the user guide.

The private VIP Telegram community is included with the 6-account Ultimate VIP plan, together with lifetime downloadable EA updates and VIP Priority Support. It is not included with Core, Complete or Professional. Those plans can be upgraded to Ultimate VIP.

DowGold relies on a cloud-connected licensing system and real-time server infrastructure that the MQL5 marketplace simply isn't built to support. Our EA communicates with our own servers to receive live market intelligence, manage licenses, and push strategy updates. None of this is possible through MQL5's distribution model.

There's also a security concern. Listing on MQL5 would expose the compiled EA to a much wider attack surface, increasing the risk of decompilation or reverse engineering. We've invested years into this system and we're not prepared to compromise it for marketplace visibility.

That's why DowGold is only available directly from dowgoldea.com or through our authorised reseller CheaperForex. This will never change.
